        " 찍힌 사진 데이터의 날짜는 분명 과거의 기록임을 말하지만, 그 사진을 통해 기억이 불러일으켜진 순간,  또 다른 기억이 현재에 다시 태어난다. 시간이 지나면서 사라져버릴 기억들을 한 장의 사진이라는 기록물로 남겨서 애써 변하지 않게 붙들고자 하지만, 사진으로 찍혔던 최초의 순간과 사진이미지를 통해 회상된 기억들 사이의 간극은 꽤나 큰 차이가 있는 것이다. 

한 부분씩 구조 속에 촘촘히 들어앉은 이미지의 조각들은 마치 부분부분 파편화되었던 기억들을 애써서 더듬어 재생시키려는 고집스러움으로 보이기도 하지만, 동시에 그 기억들을 캔버스 위에 물감과 붓질로  분해시켜 버리는 제스쳐 이기도 하다. "

  The dates marked on photographs clarify they were recorded in the past, but at the moment they are reminded of through photos another memory is reborn today. People try to capture past memories vanished with time through photographic records, there is a considerably huge gap between the first moment they were photographed and the memories evoked through photographic images.

 

. Photographic fragments, situated in each hexagonal structure, seem to imply a persistent effort to revive fragmentized memories, and at the same time a gesture to deconstruct the memories by depicting them on the canvas with paint and brush.
